1. What is Podium Notes all about?
Podium notes is a comprehensive resource created to assist both the one-time speaker as well as the professional speaker. Realizing how time intensive finding the right quote, anecdote, trivia item, proverb or touch of humor could be, Podium Notes was founded to streamline the process. Rather than scouring countless websites which all too often contain incomplete or inaccurate information, Podium Notes has put together the most complete, accurate, useful database on the world wide web. All of our quotes, anecdotes, trivia items, proverbs and touches of humor have all been screened for relevancy and accuracy. We allow members at certain subscription levels to include comments in our database which help you understand how other speakers use the same items in their speeches. The result is a truly unique resource for a speaker seeking to shine when the spotlight turns to them.

2. Why should I pay for a subscription when I can find some of the same information on free sites?
The question itself has the answer within it. You can find SOME of the information on free sites. But you will not find a resource that is as comprehensive as Podium Notes. Most speakers can not afford to spend countless hours searching the Internet looking for quotes and other items to include in their speech. Nor do they have the time to double-check each of those items to ensure that they are accurate. Podium Notes streamlines the process. A few minutes with Podium Notes can save you several hours of fruitless research. Our search tools will help streamline the process while our screening methods assure that you will only receive relevant results from your search. If you truly believe your time is valuable and time is money then Podium Notes more than pays for itself.

3. What are the different levels of service and how do I choose which is right for me?
Podium Notes has the right service level for both one-time and professional speakers alike. All of our plans are for a full 12-month period. Our Silver Membership includes access to up to 500 items and is ideal for someone planning on making a small number of presentations.  Our Gold Membership provides access to 2000 items during the 12-month period and is well suited for a speaker that will be making multiple presentations within that period. Our Platinum Membership provides access to 5000 items and is ideally suited for a professional speaker or someone who plans to make a number of presentations within the prescribed period.


4. How do you screen the information in your database?
Every item in our database has been reviewed by our staff to ensure that the information is completely accurate and relevant to the search results on our site. We continuously test our database by putting in searches and reviewing the results. Our database, unlike most others, is not a mere cut-and-paste site. All of our information is constantly reviewed, updated and expanded to ensure that the time spent on our site will be the most productive time you spend working on your speech. Our information is reviewed by at least two staff members each with a Master's Degree or higher to assure accuracy. Our members provide feedback to further ensure that our database contains only the most accurate and relevant information.

5. Are your quotes from speakers of the United States only?
No. Our database includes quotes, anecdotes, proverbs and trivia items from around the world and from all periods of human history. We have amassed the most comprehensive database on the world wide web to ensure that you find exactly what you need to set your speech apart from all the rest.

6. How can I pay for my membership?
For your convenience we accept Visa and Mastercard. We also will accept a billing arrangements for approved companies.

7. Does my subscription automatically renew?
No, your subscription will not automatically renew. For your convenience, however, we will send a reminder that your subscription is to expire within thirty-days. If you do not renew within that thirty-day period we will notify you that your subscription has expired.

8. What if I do not find what I want?
We are so confident in our service that we offer trial memberships. If you are not completely impressed, you have no further obligation to Podium Notes.

9. Do you have quotes from anonymous sources and if so, how do I use them?
Unlike other resources, we do not attempt to puff up our database with sources that
cannot be verified, or "anonymous sources“. Most items in our database, except for some in our humor section, have the attributed source. Each item, therefore, will be suitable for use in a presentation.
